  My daughters received an excellent education at Patterson Road School and Lakeview Junior High. My younger daughter, Amanda, was fortunate to have Bob Bush as her principal at both schools and I was fortunate to be the OUSD after school program coordinator at Patterson Road School under Mr. Bush, as well. Both girls achieved academic excellence awards that encouraged their pursuit of quality learning goals. Their teachers were supportive and challenging. They both graduated from college and have excellent careers; in Amanda's case she is also currently in grad. school. I can't thank the administration, support staff, and teachers enough for the motivation and love of learning my daughters received in the Orcutt District. Terri Hawes
